April Works party – Thank you!

 


Thank you to Robin for organising this morning’s working party at All Saints’ and thank you to everyone who turned up to help. We achieved all our targets (plus a couple) for the day with pipes undercoated and door ironwork cleaned and repainted. We even cleaned the tower out! Great teamwork and fun with it. See you later in summer for round 2 when we put the top coat on and tackle a few more of those unglamorous essentials.

Prayer for the week

Heavenly Father,
we come to you with mixed emotions:
excited at the prospect of time with friends and family,
looking forward to shared meals and shared homes,
anxious about what the future holds.
We come to you celebrating, grieving, joyful and angry
at the life and death we see around us.
We come to you grateful that in all we face
you walk alongside us.
Give us the courage to respond with compassion
to those who are hurting
and to work for justice for those who are oppressed.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Highbrook Mozart Concert Sunday 18th March 2018

Mozart Requiem Concert. Coro Nuovo, a Mid Sussex based choir directed by Andrew Rees.
Lots of local publicity will follow.We have been lucky to have some fine choirs at Highbrook in recent months, but this will be directed and performed by musicians of the highest caliber.
