The delicate spiralling flowers of Autumn ladies tresses orchid, or Spiranthes spiralis, can be spotted flowering in front of the All Saints’ War Memorial. Whilst not on the endangered list this is still a relatively unusual “spot” and we have protected these tiny flowers with a fence of twigs to prevent unwitting trampling.
