Angels Festival

The first day of Angels Festival 2023 was busy with many visitors enjoying the angels flying in the nave whilst sipping winter warmer drinks from our pop up bar at the back of church.

We were pleased to have a full church for Music and Readings at the end of the afternoon (the film will follow shortly) and hope you all enjoyed the specially selected programme.

All Saints is open as normal for you to visit and see the installation and there’ll be a team there on Friday and Saturday evening for Angel Lates.  Pop into church during Lates and see the installation fully lit and enjoy a drink from our pop up bar or enjoy it during the peace of the day.

Music and Readings on an Angelic theme.

This  promises to be a wonderful musical finale to the Angels Festival and Village Hall Market day. We’re promised a varied selection of music with major  highlights being Lena Touqan singing the Angel’s Farewell from Gerontius and a group of talented young singing Robbie Williams ‘Angels’  Don’t miss this very special event (free entry).

Angels – the build begins.

The Angels Festival is coming up fast at the end of next week.  Thanks to everyone who has helped this week – we’ve achieved a lot!

The frame’s now up and in position and on Monday the Angels will take flight. If you’d like to join and be part of the project just turn up – all help welcomed!

Today this fabulous angel silhouette was put up in the churchyard waiting for tomorrow evening’s Christmas light switch on by the Village Hall Committee.  Many thanks to Pauline and team for creating it!

Angels 2023

Thank you to everyone who came Angel Stringing on Saturday – we’ve made great strides forward and the end of this phase is in sight!

The final stringing session will be this Saturday from 10-12 in Highbrook Village Hall.

Thank you party

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to last week’s Interregnum Thank You supper at Highbrook Village Hall. Some amazing salads and puddings appeared from around the parish and judging by the clean plates at the end of each course they were all much appreciated. And, despite the look of this photo, we did feed Rev’d Heather too!
