Wedding ready!

A happy band of of church cleaners and polishers after Monday’s working party in Highbrook. Thank you everyone who joined us to help – we got lots done in a short time and All Saints’ is wedding-ready to go!

Advent Angel Cutting

On Tuesday 6th June we started cutting out the Angels for our Advent Festival, which will be held over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd of December. It was a very productive morning with 600 Angels cut out. Only another 4500 to go. We all enjoyed a good chat, coffee and biscuits whilst we did the cutting. Thank you to Peter and Andrea for hosting us

Summer Colours 2023

A wonderful Summer Colours concert on Saturday from Sussex Occasional Singers & Summer Strings was topped and tailed by the Ukrainian and British National anthems with some gorgeous music in between including Mozart, Austin, Vaughan Williams and Parry. Here’s a quick blast of verse 2 of Jerusalem for those of you who couldn’t be there – how lucky we are to have such wonderful live music in our parish! Save the date for their next concert – 23rd September at St. Margaret’s.

The latest edition of The Chronicle is now out with this  month’s cover design by Monica Moore. Hard copies of the  magazine are @£1.50 each and are now available in All Saints’. You can read the church pages only via this link.

On the Sunday following The Coronation we were treated to a varied programme of music from All Saints’ Choir (with some extra guest singers) and readings devised by the readers themselves.

Interregnum news

We were pleased to welcome Helen, from The Lord Chancellor’s office, to our parishes today. Helen will be involved in the interview and selection of a new vicar for West Hoathly & Highbrook acting on behalf of The Lord Chancellor, working with our parish representatives and the Diocese of Chichester.
